Cute picture!

Gracie got this for her birthday in July from her "Memaw" (my wonderful mother-in-law) and she wore it today for the first time, to preschool. I took this picture to e-mail to my MIL at work and it turned out pretty cute, so I thought I would post it. I will have to find a good recent one of Ava, too. In crafting news, I made a really cute gift album last week for the birth of my cousin and his wife's first baby girl, but I pretty much went right to the hospital to visit when I was done and didn't take any pictures of it. Maybe next time I see them I will ask them to bring it so I can get some pictures. It's basically the same thing as the gift album I made for my sister, except I used the Rock-a-Bye Girl Simply Scrappin' kit from SU! So cute! I bought the kit to make two birthday albums for my girls since there are enough supplies in there for two mini albums, but my cousin and his wife did not know what they were having and I am not great at unisex crafts, so I waited until I knew the sex of the baby to make their album. It was lucky I had that kit on hand--it made everything so easy!

World Cardmaking Day Projects

Sorry, everyone. I have been really lax in posting my stamping projects lately. I have been so busy that I haven't really had much time to stamp. This past Saturday was World Cardmaking Day and I was intending to have a stamp camp, but only one person could make it. We decided to just get together and stamp for fun, so she brought over her Classy Brass template and chipboard that she had purchased and had me show her how to use it. I got three cards made, all from scraps. I love to do that, just sit down and see how many cards I can make from my leftover materials from other projects. I would have gotten more done, but we ran out of time. The baby card was made for my friend Delaina, who just had her first baby girl a couple of weeks ago. She doesn't like pink, but I can't make a baby girl card without including pink, so I decided to make the main color green and use pink as an accent. :) All supplies are Stampin' Up! for all three projects. The "Celebrate You" card will just go into my stash of premade cards to send out for someone's birthday (the stash now consists of one card. I usually make cards as I need them, but I want to build up some so that I can send them on time for once! LOL!) Finally, the little sliver of card that you see is a sneak peek of one of the projects that we are going to be making at my stamp camp, that has been rescheduled for 10/18. I actually CASED the card and adapted it a bit from a stamper on SCS. It is beautiful and I LOVE the colors!
