Rejected Submission

Can't get into CARDS magazine to save my life. Made this for their "sewing" call for their September issue and the calls went out yesterday. Oh well. I used some new Making Memories Flutter patterned paper and used some scraps of Bazzill and SU! to round it out. I used a 1 1/4" square punch to punch out the bigger squares and then cut some of the squares in half for the alternating rows. Used my sewing machine for the "quilting." Thanks for looking and any comments. :)

Well, I think it is cute. I'd put you in my magazine. If I had one.

How do you know when they contact people? I guess mine didn't make the cut either. I submitted over 30 cards. They haven't accepted any of my submissions in a few months. Your card is super cute. You just never know what they are looking for. There were a couple of mine that were accepted that I didn't care for and were definitely not what I would consider my best work. I usually don't make cards specifically for a call. I just go through the cards I already have made and submit the card that fit what they are looking for. Good luck!!!

Amy, where are you? You have disappeared from cyberspace. I hope you and your family are well. Say hello so I know you're okay.
